Growing Esports
The Michigan High School Esports Coaches Association (MHSECA) is dedicated to empowering and supporting esports coaches across Michigan. Our mission is to promote excellence in coaching, foster a collaborative community, and enhance the educational and competitive experiences of high school esports athletes. Through professional development, resource sharing, and advocacy, MHSECA aims to elevate the standards of esports coaching, grow esports at the high school level, and contribute to the growth and success of scholastic esports in Michigan.

Goals and Object
MHSECA will grow esports in Michigan and support our coaches in various ways, including but not limited to:
- Hosting an Annual Coaching Summit for all coaches to attend to grow professionally and network
- Host various smaller regional clinics for our coaches to learn new skills and techniques and promote esports
- Michigan Esports Hall of Fame recognition for those coaches who have shown exceptional service, commitment and success
- Coach of the Year Award
- Assistant Coach of the Year Award
- Program of the Year Award
- Student Athlete of the Year Award
- Providing coaching resources and materials for our members
- Helping schools setup new esports programs
- A discord server for coaches throughout all levels of esports in the state of Michigan
- Keep a list of esports job opportunities for K-12
